Artist Statement
Bloom turns function into apparition. The tabletop behaves like a water surface caught at the instant of expansion—rings push outward, folding the room into shifting cells of light. A tapering stem carries this motion down into a “puddle” foot that appears to flow around the floor plane. The piece treats stainless steel as a living skin: reflective, responsive, and animated by anything placed upon it.

1/1 Modern Exhibition
Place free-standing with at least 1 m of clearance so the rim reads as a full rosette. Use even, high-CRI lighting at 3000–4000 K; soft overhead illumination emphasizes the petal geometry without harsh hotspots. Keep surrounding tones neutral to let reflections do the coloring. Clean with microfiber and a pH-neutral solution only.
