Artist Statement
Expansion is a study of how emptiness can anchor form. The disc swells like a wave paused in bloom; the opening at its center invites the world through, while the small polished sphere gathers and releases it as a brilliant seed. Surfaces bend reflections into liquid topography so the work reads as both halo and horizon—solid steel behaving like light.
1/1 Modern Exhibition
Present on a quiet pedestal at eye level with soft, grazing light (3000–3500 K, high-CRI). Keep backgrounds matte so the reflections remain legible; allow 1–2 m of viewing distance for the aperture–sphere dialogue to resolve. Clean with microfiber and a pH-neutral solution; no abrasives.
1/2 Renaissance Works
A circle breathing in.
