Artist Statement
The Liquid Rods series translates the Mercury Effect into pure line. Every rod is forged and worked by hand until a calm sinus of waves runs its length. Seen together, the elements read like parallel currents; walk around them and the reflections shear, braid and unbraid, throwing highlights across the room. The work is architectural in spirit—strictly vertical yet optically fluid—so that surrounding space, colour and movement are pulled into the steel and returned as a slow, luminous shimmer.
1/1 Modern Exhibition
Present the set on a simple base with generous breathing room so the silhouettes remain crisp. Keep the background matte and light-neutral. Use soft grazing light from one side to draw the relief, with a secondary fill to keep speculars controlled. Allow at least two metres of viewing distance so parallax can unfold as the visitor moves. Maintenance is minimal: microfiber only and a pH-neutral solution.
1/2 Renaissance Works
Five quiet streams standing still, turning the room into water and the passer-by into light.
