Artist Statement
Negotiation Desk is designed to soften the architecture of power. The reflective “liquid” panels dissolve hard edges and echo the room back at the participants, reminding each side they share the same space. The curved timber surface subtly centers bodies and documents, creating a natural meeting zone without barriers. It’s a desk that performs as a sculpture—calm, lucid, and disarming—so dialogue can flow.
1/1 Modern Exhibition
Place with 0.8–1.2 m clearance on all sides to read the base as a continuous surface. Use even, high-CRI lighting at 3000–4000 K; avoid tight spotlights that create glare on the mirror finish. Pair with low-saturation textiles and matte walls so reflections remain legible. Clean stainless with microfiber and a pH-neutral solution; maintain the wood with a hardwax-oil or varnish as specified.
