Artist Statement
The Ottoman explores the interaction between form, reflection, and spatial context. Its surfaces behave like rippling metal, capturing the environment and folding it into a constantly shifting visual texture. Designed as both a functional object and an aesthetic presence, the piece embodies the tension between solidity and fluidity, echoing the artist’s ongoing investigation of Mercury Effect surfaces.
1/1 Installation
The ottoman is intended for indoor environments where its mirrored geometry can fully interact with surrounding architecture. Placing it near stone, marble, or natural textures enhances the depth of its reflections. Ideal as a standalone sculptural accent or as part of a contemporary interior arrangement.
