Artist Statement
The Column explores the relationship between verticality and reflection. Its tall, commanding presence mirrors sky, landscape and viewer, shifting continually with light and movement. The work transforms an ordinary outdoor setting into a dynamic spatial dialogue, where the environment becomes part of the sculpture’s living surface.
The piece is conceived as an architectural totem — a symbol of strength, elevation and continuity — while its fluid reflective texture softens the monumental form, balancing rigidity with organic optical motion.
1/1 Installation
Columns can be installed:
- Individually as sculptural accents
- In clusters to form a reflective vertical landscape
- Outdoors or indoors (weather-resistant stainless steel)
- Anchored directly into ground or onto engineered bases
- Suitable for plazas, gardens, entrances, courtyards, lobbies
Lighting from below or at oblique angles enhances the rippled reflections dramatically.
