The Executive

A mirror-polished stainless-steel column that doubles as a sculptural planter. The surface ripples like liquid metal while the opening at the top hosts a living form—turning foliage into part of the artwork.

Artist Statement

The Executive is about presence and poise. The column is all decision-making edge and reflective authority, yet its crown is delegated to a plant—organic, unruly, time-bound. By folding the room into its skin, the piece reminds us that leadership is not opacity but reflection; not rigidity but stewardship of something living.

1/1 Modern Exhibition

Place freestanding with at least 80–100 cm clearance all around so the vertical silhouette reads cleanly. Use soft, even lighting at 3000–4000 K (high CRI) to avoid pin-point hotspots; graze one side lightly to reveal the wave geometry. If shown planted, choose a structural species (e.g., aloe, sansevieria) and a simple soil top dressing; water sparingly to keep surfaces pristine. Clean with microfiber and pH-neutral solution only.
