Artist Statement
Transfusion imagines metal as a living fluid moving through wood. The hand-shaped Bubinga surface swells softly toward a central hollow; at that point a silver plate seems to emerge, then continue down a fine column to gather on the floor. The top and base mirror each other like two surfaces of one liquid body, trading weight for flow. Reflection animates the piece—the room circulates through the steel while the timber holds the pulse.
1/1 Modern Exhibition
Allow 0.7–1.0 m of clearance on all sides. Light with high-CRI 3000–4000 K; add a low, grazing accent from the steel side to bring out the pooled relief without hotspots. Keep nearby colors neutral and matte so reflections read clean. Maintain with microfiber and pH-neutral cleaner for steel; oil/wax the Bubinga periodically. Use felt pads; avoid direct heating and strong UV.
1/2 Renaissance Works
A vein of light passes through wood and returns as a pool.
